Wow, what an excellent stay! I’ve always loved B&Bs but our experience at the Boston T exceeded our expectations. Serge and Shelley were fantastic hosts. Everything was very clean, with sanitizer stations throughout, and hosts were always masked – we felt very safe. Breakfast was absolutely exceptional with many personal touches!

Perfect 2 Night Getaway

The Boston ‘T’ Exceeds Expectations!
This gem is tucked away in the quiet countryside of Carp. It offers a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, but is close enough to the main attractions in Ottawa. The accommodations and grounds are beautifully kept. But was really sets this home in a class of its own is the warm hospitality of Serge and Shelley. They excel at making sure that you have everything that you need to make your stay as enjoyable as possible; from giving insight to places that might be of interest to offering tea at the end of a long day. The breakfasts at the Boston ‘T’ were memorable and exceptional. They were perfectly done, varied, delicious, beautifully plated and tailored to individual needs. The eggs florentine was the best I have ever had and Shelley’s homemade jams were fantastic. I would highly recommend the Boston ‘T’ and rate both the accommodations and service as exceptional.

What A Find!
Having stayed in the Almonte Carp area many times because of family, I was delighted to find this lovely home. Stayed for three nights and will definitely return. Grounds and home impeccable. Hosts charming and very accommodating. Shelley is the hostess with the mostest. Serge and Princess, the Boston T, could not have been friendlier. Our breakfasts were delightfully delicious, varied and healthy and one evening after a very long day, Shelley offered us some of her home-made chocolates and cookies. The pool was an added treat with a reviving swim before dinner.

Absolutely Amazing!
I truly enjoyed my stay! The bed we stayed in? So comfortable – probably the best night’s sleep I had in a while! In the morning we had a candlelight breakfast, fruit salad to start followed by eggs benedict – I have to say Shelley makes the BEST hollandaise sauce. Absolutely the best eggs benedict I have ever had! She was also very thorough on how we liked our breakfast and tailored it to our liking. It was great to wake up to! I was only there for two nights but Serge and Shelley were AMAZING hosts and they have a beautiful home. I was treated like top priority and that meant a lot. They are wonderful people and I think a LOT more people should stay here. I will be back again someday for sure.

Perfect Relaxation!
I spend 4 days here visiting friends in the area. Shelley and Serge could not have been more accommodating and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Truly delicious home-made breakfast, exceptionally comfortable room, spotlessly clean needless to say, as well as a lounge and swimming pool to relax in. Very quiet spot in the countryside but only a few minutes’ drive to Carp or the highway. It was a real pleasure to spend time in their beautifully-appointed house as well as the friendly, relaxing chats by the pool. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Place To Stay!
I echo someone else who said “Ten out of five!” Shelley and Serge are the best … I was there for a workshop for seven days and I felt wonderfully at home. Incredible breakfasts (with homemade jams!) got my day off to a great start, and when I rolled in at the end of the day, Shelley was always there to ask if I needed tea, etc. One night she made homemade ice-cream with her own frozen raspberries – delicious! My room was comfortable and spotless, and homemade chocolates would appear, compliments of Shelley, for me to enjoy. Honestly, can’t say enough. Thank you!!

Ten Out Of Five!
If you plan to go to Ottawa, this B&B is worth the few minutes extra drive from the little village of Carp. Our hosts made us feel like royalty from their first contact to our last goodbye. Genuine, Warm Hospitality
My husband and I enjoyed our 2-day stay at this B&B. Shelley and Serge are so eager to make your stay a memorable experience. It’s the little things – chilled water for your room, homemade chocolates every day, delicious and generous breakfasts serviced on fine china, homemade jam. The efforts they made were extraordinary and we really felt most welcome in their home. The house is a 30 minute drive to Parliament area and offers a respite from walking around and the crowds. There is space indoors and outside that you can sit and enjoy the accommodations.

Happy Days!
After being welcomed by Serge and Shelley, we received a tour of the house and were pleasantly surprised. It was even better than the website pictures would suggest. Aside from being beautiful, it was warm, cosy and homey, with a fire burning in the fireplace. We loved our room and everything was spotlessly clean.
